There are 8 Families of former University of Va Grads who were all in Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity who have vacationed together (with their families) in ONE house for the past 31 years. We come from as far away as Ohio, DC, PA, SC, etc. We always meet at Captain Franks while we wait for the house to be ready! It is a PiKA tradition we all look forward to! Partly because one of us - Mange - is a weenie himself!

Captn Franks is our families All-Time favorite restaurant!! The plan is three dinners at Franks during our two weeks at the beach. See you all soon. Grandma, Grandpa & Nick will probably be in Saturday. We'll see you Monday night!!! Can't Wait!

Ate at Capt'n Franks because my niece liked the boat in the front. Wow! She made a great choice. Loved the food and the atmosphere. Will be back again next trip to OBX in September.

Had a friend of mine I work with tell me about Capt’n Franks and how good the food is. We will be going to the OB’s July 8th and will give it a try. From the reviews I see here we will not be disappointed.

My wifes sister lives in Kitty Hawk. Everytime we visit her we always go to Capt'n Franks. Its my favorite place to eat at the OBX!

My wife and I stopped by on May 20th around 5 PM, but nobody was there. Closed. I'll be back to OBX in September...hope you're open then. Waaaa!

Man...talk about a good weiner! Me and my family come every summer... i like that junky dog! friendly service great food what more could you ask for! i havent met the captn but i would like to...maybe next summer!

Well my family may love the junkyard dog. But my favorite is the Chicago dog. I had to take my Dad there after his surgery and before his trip home to Memphis. See ya soon.
